{"id":7786,"date":"2020-12-04T13:08:19","date_gmt":"2020-12-04T12:08:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/niipit.dk\/heroic-sport\/?p=7786"},"modified":"2020-12-04T13:10:17","modified_gmt":"2020-12-04T12:10:17","slug":"chosing-indian-clubs-for-home-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/niipit.dk\/heroic-sport\/chosing-indian-clubs-for-home-training\/","title":{"rendered":"Choosing Indian clubs for home training"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If you\u2019re considering training with Indian clubs, you probably have been wondering if you should go for heavy clubs or light clubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With so many types and so many styles of club swinging, it can be hard to figure out what to start with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We hope to break it down for you in this post and help you make an informed decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-let-s-keep-it-simple\">Let\u2019s keep it simple!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At Heroic Sport, we differentiate between 2 styles: open style and closed style.<br>Open style is what most Westerners would associate Indian clubs to: light clubs swung in the British tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-light-clubs\">Light clubs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Open style club swinging is typically done with 2 light clubs, although you can swing with a single club as well.<br>Light clubs, in this context, means clubs you can swing at full arm\u2019s length with good elevation on each cast. It\u2019s all good!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are quite a few things that are common to all clubs, regardless of their weight, as long as you\u2019re not trying to do a 1RM attempt\u2026<br><br>Club swinging offers a form of meditation in motion. The repetitive, rhythmic, circular swings put the brain in a slight trance which is highly regenerative and relaxing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lots of physical attributes, like core strength and balance are activated and trained in a reactive fashion, which simply means it happens without you having to think about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-help-me-decide\">Help me decide!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are primarily interested in strength and full body training, invest in one of our adjustable heavy clubs, like the Pahlavandle XL or Pahlavandle TG.
